Can the ladder be assembled on either side of the bed?

Sorry, the ladder can only be placed on the left side of the bed, as shown in the image.

Can the writing board be used with any type of pen?

The writing board is best used with water-based pens, which are easy to erase.

Can I put a 12 inch twin mattress on the bed?

You cannot use a 12-inch mattress with this bed, as it would leave very little functional guard rail space. Both 5-inch and 6-inch full mattresses would be a great fit for this bed.

Would this bed work for a teenager (5’1” 100lbs)?

Absolutely! Our beds are made of sturdy, solid pine wood and boast a weight capacity of 350 pounds, so this bed could support a 100-pound teenager.

Is a bunkie board necessary?

None of our beds, bunk beds, or loft beds need bunkie boards or box springs. Our strong solid wood slats ensure that your child can have a safe, secure, and supported sleep each night.
