Are you able to take the bunk bed apart?

Our bunk beds arrive disassembled. This bunk bed can not be taken apart.

Do you need box springs?

No, our beds do not require a box spring or foundation mattress. Our slat roll is designed to take the place of the traditional box spring. In fact, we recommend not using a box spring on our beds at all.

Can I fit a twin 12 inch thick mattress in the bottom?

We recommend an 8~10" mattress not to exceed 10" even for the bottom bunk.

Is the slide and stairs easily removable? How are they connected to the bed?

Hi! The slide and ladder are attached to the bed using sturdy screws. They can be placed on either side of the bed to fit your space. We do not recommend removing the ladder or slide because doing so would create gaps on the top bunk that could create a safety issue for children sleeping on the top bunk.

Can this bed be separated like some of the other bunk beds?

Hello, the top loft can not be separated from the bottom bed to create 2 different spaces.
