Is the ladder detachable? Or is it screwed on?

The ladder is screwed on!

Can the ladder and the slide be installed on either side of the bed or only configured as shown?

You can only configure the ladder and slide as shown.

Can the slide be removed without compromising the integrity of the rest of the frame?

We do not recommend removing the slide on our bunk beds because doing so leaves a gap on the top bunk. This might be dangerous for kids sleeping on the top bunk.

Are the slide and ladder able to switch places?

The ladder and slide can only be exactly assembled like what they are in the picture.

How much weight does the ladder hold?

Though the ladder can hold 200 lbs, we recommend only one person on the ladder at a time.
