The trundle does not elevate. It rests on caster wheels that roll directly on the floor.

Does the trundle come out both sides?

The trundle rolls away from the bed in the direction of the wooden trundle face and hand holds.

The trundle mattress should not exceed 6 inches thick. This helps to ensure proper closure under the bed.
